Mr. & Mrs. Charles ISLES - Kansas City, KS - 1913
"The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Monday, July 28, 1913
A FENDER SAVED TWO.
A street car fender saved the life of Charles ISLES, 72 years old, and his
wife, who is 70 years old, at Thirteenth Street and Chelsea Park line last
night. They stepped from behind a westbound car in front of one going
east. Mr. ISLES suffered only a few bruises, but Mrs. ISLES had internal
injuries. They were taken to their home, 1340 Greeley Avenue.
