MUSCATINE, Iowa - Daniel (Dan) Eugene Ison, 38, of Muscatine, died Saturday, August 31, 2002, at his home.
Services will be at the Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Burial will be in the Elliott County Memory Gardens, Sandy Hook.
Visitation will be at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home.
Mr. Ison was born on Oct. 13, 1963, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Delores Howell and Warren E. Ison.
Mr. Ison was emplyed by Trillian Driver Solution in Bettendorf, Iowa.
He loved to fish, hunt and listen to country music. He always had a smile on his face.
Survivors include a son, Joshua R. Ison, and Joshua's mother, Lisa Jones, of Muscatine; his mother and step-father, Delores and Billie Rogers, of Muscatine; his father and step-mother, Warren E. and Helen Ison, of Dayton, Ohio; three sisters, Tina Shulins, Stephanie Rogers and Jessica Rogers, of Muscatine; two brothers, Billie Rogers and Shawn Rogers, of Muscatine, two nephews, Jeffery and Tyler Shulins, of Muscatine; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Beaulah Howell of Sandy Hook, KY, one special friend, Darin Van Est, of Muscatine; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins in Kentucky.
Mr. Ison was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sam and Randa Ison of Sandy Hook, KY.
