Does anyone here know of a Charles Frederick Jacob Ivers, born around 1853 in Kiel, Germany? I cannot find any information on him prior to 1883 when he married his first wife and was widowed shortly after the birth of his daughter, Effie. He remarried a widow in Birmingham (UK) and later had a further 2 children with Sarah, his second wife, and was step-father to Sarah's two boys from her first marriage. He died in 1920.

He worked as a perambulator cane maker in Birmingham.
