In 1868 a group of Irish families left the Tingwick area of QC and migrated to Renville County in south-central Minnesota. Known families were Brown, Goggin, Gleason, Buckley, Sullivan, and Murphy. It is believed that one or more Ivers and Lawlors also came to the same area of MN after the first group.
Other Irish families that stayed in the Tingwick area include Mullens, Ling, and various French families, plus members of the MN families that stayed in QC.
If anyone seeda possible connection give me a holler
