Classification: Query
Surnames: Nostvik, Iverson
I am searching for additional information on this family and would appreciate any tips or leads.
According to 1920 Federal Census, Olaf Nostvik was born in Norway about 1870 (town unknown). He immigrated to America in 1874 and became a naturalized citizen in 1884. In 1920, he lived in the village of Thompsonville and worked as a building contractor.
He married Johanna Iverson (date/location = unknown) and they had two children. According to 1920 Census records, she was born in Norway about 1882 (but I believe this date was incorrectly captured -- possibly 1872, since the same record had her immigrating in 1874)
-o- Agnes Nostvik was born in Michigan about 1901
-o- Sigurd Nostvik was born in Michigan about 1903
I have not been able to find any other records via Ancestry.com and would appreciate any help you could toss my way. Thanks in advance for your support.
Sincerely, "PJ" Braun -- ptpgroup@hotmail.com
