"Fred Dean IZATT, 80, of 302 Rowe Drive, Normal, died at 6:15 a.m. Monday at Brokaw Hospital. A retired grocer, he had worked the past two years at Baumgart Building Center. He was taken to Beck Memorial Home. Private services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Park Hill Mausoleum. Howland Paddock, a Christian Science reader, officiating. Interment will be at the mausoleum. There will be no visitation.
Mr. IZATT was born Dec. 29, 1893, in Bloomington, a son of Jack [James Edward] and Jess WASHBURN IZATT. He married Helen FRITZ June 10, 1916, in Bloomington. He is survived by his wife, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Nancy Baumgart, Lake Bloomington; two sons, Dean, Akron, Ohio; and Jack, Fort Smith, Ark; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Bloomington, and the Wade Barney Masonic Lodge. Memorials may be made to the Christian Science Church."
