"Florence W. IZETT, 93, of Port Orchard died of natural causes July 11, 2001, at Christy's adult care home in Port Orchard.

She was born Aug. 4, 1907, in Britton, S.D., to Walter and Alma (ROOT) WILLISON. She graduated from high school on Vashon Island in 1925 and attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. She was a 1934 graduate of Western University in Bellingham.

She married William Bryan IZETT on June 18, 1939 in Oak Harbor. He preceded her in death in 1986.

Mrs. IZETT was a teacher for 40 years, spending the last 20 years in the Shoreline district before retiring in 1972.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon ROBINSON of Port Orchard and Faye IZETT of Mill Valley, Calif.; a sister Eleanore LAKE of Bellingham; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann IZETT in 1952 and by five siblings.

Entombment will take place at Acacia Cemetery in Seattle. Local arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
