Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I am your father's cousin. My parents are Richard and Grace Oppenhuis.
I have heard that our cousin, Harold and his wife, Marilyn, have done quite a bit of research on the Oppenhuis family. But haven't taken the time to contact them. Hope to do it soon, but the time flies by faster than I care to think about it.
I wouldn't have had the time to find this site again, if it weren't for the fact that I took my laptop with on vacation.
