Mermod, Jaccard & King Jewelry Co.

My brother used to work for a moving company and was given a clock and handed the clock off to me. On the bottom of the clock there is a label with Mermod, Jaccard & King Jewelry Co. on it and is dated 1904. I was trying to look anything up about this company just out of curiosity. I used to live in the St. Louis area 18 years ago. Does this company still exist and can I find out anything about this clock. The clock is not in very good condition but being almost 100 years old I find it very interesting. If anyone has any information on this please let me know.
