My grandmother was Katherine Jachim, born in Chicago and married to Thomas Wisniewski. My father thinks Katherine's mother's name was Sophie. She had a brother Paul and a brother John as well as a sister (don't know the name). Are any of these names in your family? I can find no information on Katherine before her marriage.
