Jasper Slachter. they lived in Barboursville, Va. My fathers mothers name was Mrs. Grace Shipp. I would like to know where we are orginally from. any info would help. ruth slachter lipscomb.

I am part of the John Jachim family that settled in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I now live in Roy, Utah some 30 miles north of Salt Lake City. Although I fear I may be opening Pandorah's box I would be willing to assistance folks in family history research. I cannot promise success but I am likely in a better position than most if records/films need to be searched since I have access to the largest repository for genealogy in the world.

hello, my name is regina marie jachim, i am the daughter of david allen jachim. he is the son of joseph frank jachim. joe is the son of john and regina jachim. john was originally from poland, regina was from bohemia, now the czech republic. we live in michigan. we settled in michigan in the early 1900's. im looking for history on the parents and other relitives of john jachim and regina. any info would be greatly appeciated. thanks

My great-grandmother was Anna Jachim. She married Joseph Misek on 06/03/1907 and had 5 children, Lillian (my grandmother), Pauline, Bernice, Joseph, and William. She was born on 04/02/1886 in Czechloslovakia and died on 08/08/1957 in Cook County, IL. On the death certificate, it lists her father as Anton Jackin, and mother as 'Vinian (unk.)'
Any information on family members of Anna would be greatly appreciated.
