Jackel as Jaeckle from southern Germany

Surnames: Jackel, Jaeckle
Someone else on this board has commented that JACKEL has also been spelled JAECKLE or JACKLE with an umlauted "A".
I have come across MANY Jaeckles in the Schwenningen church records. Schwenningen is a town between Stuttgart and the Swiss border. There are many surrounding towns that also have JAECKLEs, including Flozingen, mentioned elsewhere on this board.
I have documented some JAECKLEs as part of my JAUCH research. (I have a JAECKLE ancestor myself, but only on the German side.) If you're interested poke around here:
