Has anyone come across the Jacket/t/s surname associated with the area of Devonport, Devon, England.
Names so far include
William Hancock Jackets born 1835 who married Anna Nunn in 1861 and they had several children.
Spelling variations on the census listings range from Jacket, Jackets, Jackett and Jacketts.
