Robinson Jacklin is also my great great grandfather, and Joseph is my great grandfather his son Charles F. jacklin is my grandfather his son Douglas was my father. I have some information on the family from Robinson down

is anyone else confused by robison/robinson?
He has a alot of children and a few marriages. My gr gr gr grandfather would be Joseph (robisons son)and his son david is my gr gr grandfather. david married my gr grandmother violet. i think thats right. but i am intrigued by him as there is a marriage license saying he married joseph's wife's mother. any info regarding david or violet would greatly appreciated.

as far as i have figured out robinson married submitt (sorry for errors in spelling) who was his daughter in laws mother (josephs wife) later in life. but i am confused by some info on here. some is a robison and some is robinson

Aunt Shriley it's me little linda. bill and linda's daughter. my mom linda passed away july 20, 2002 6 years ago going on 7 now. bill lives with grandma. down in the basement were ann cummings used to live. i would like more info on grandpa jacklin and my mom if you can please and thank you aunt shriley.

I am a daughter of Douglas Jacklin, his wife is Sara Ann Budreau -Jacklin thier children are Charles - Helen - Donald- Shirley- Barbara - Glen Douglas (BUD) Edger(ted) William (bill) Linda -Peggy- Kenneth_ .

I have quiet a lot of info on the Jacklin families and my brother Bill married Linda

Researching Robert Jacklin & Catherine Healy marriage & family in Holstein area of Grey Co Canada. Marriage could have been abt. 1854. Children were: Sarah Ann, b 1855 - Johanne, b 1858 - Mary Fanny, b 1860 & Patrick Robert, b 1861. Robert left the family shortly before Patrick was born in 1861 to go to Nebraska to homestead & never came back. Catherine eventually a John Cronin/Croman.

Are CHAULKIN and JACQUELIN the same surname?

I am looking for Thomas JACQUELIN or CHAULKIN who married Olive BEAUSOLEIL (BOUSLEY) in Black Brook in 1866.

My grandmother spelled her grandaunt's surname for me as JACUELIN but I have come across what I think is the same family in the 1880 Census for Michigan and it is spelled CHAULKIN.

I am wondering if someone could do a lookup in Pontbriand Marriages in Clinton County for the parents of Thomas. The census shows his parents as being from England but he was born in New York.

Austin, Roman is currently in prison. We are divorced, but I do hear from him every so often. I would be happy to give you an address if you want to contact him. I'm sure he'd like that. He's had a rough life and made some bad choices. Fortunately, after our divorce we remain good friends.

My great great grandfather was Robinson Jacklin born I think in the early 1800's as far as I have been able to figure is birth is between 1817 and 1820 .

Sorry the only Charles A. Jacklin that I know is my brother Charles Anrnold Jacklin born Aug 24 1933 in Parry Sound .

The only other Charles Jacklin I know of is my grandfather Charles Francis Jacklin born 1880 in Rosseau On.

Hello Jane: This is what I have, and your info may be my missing link. The following from Parry Sound and my relatives.
Charles Francis Jacklin g.grand father, his son Norman Jacklin (my gr. father) his son Peter Jacklin (my father) I know Norman Jacklin had a brother named Douglas. Also I know that C.F. Jacklin owned many farms and company's in Parry Sound such as Jacklin Lumber, Jacklin Gravel etc..

I will ask my dad If he knows any of C.F. Jacklin's brothers or sisters name. Word has long been we hailed from Licolnshire England (check spelling)

I am research the Robinson Jacklin family , he lived in Foley Township for some years and he died there May 31 1893.
His children were Andrew, Joseph, Elizabeth -William, Frank.
Joseph was my great grand father, his son Charles Francis was my grandfather. He married Sara Jane ( Jennie ) Huffman and settled in Orville On.
Will share what infromation I have and am hoping that there are others willing to do the same.

I spoke to Lloyds parents about 1 or 2 years ago. They informed me Barbara left SLC after Lloyd's death.

She was having some difficult trials with Roman and moved out of the area, I think to NM or AZ.

Hilda's marrage to Charles A. Jacklin took place in the Chicago, Illinois area. Charles was born January 15, 1895 and died in Chicago April 6, 1951. Hilda was born June 22, 1898 in Furtwangen, Germany and cane to this country in 1906. She died July 27 1960.

Their first child, Mary, was born in 1919. I do not have dates for their other two children Betty or John.

I believe they spent their entire married life in the Chicago area.

I received a copy of a will yesterday of an Edmund Jacklyn, lighterman of St Dunstans, London who died in 1810. He left property and money to Mary Jacklyn otherwise Smithers who had lived and resided with him for many years. I also mentions Mary's 5 children Edmund, Joseph, Richard, John and Sarah. All known as Jacklyn otherwise Smithers. I don't know if these are Edmund senior's children. There is no Rebecca but wondered if there might be a connection to the families you are looking for. I know it's a long shot. Have you found out any more of your Jacklyn/Smithers?
