I'm trying to track down the parents of Samuel C Jackman my 3rd Great Grandfather. The information I have from other trees is that he was born 7/12/1800 in Winchester but none have any documentation as to where this information came from nor any information on his parents. He moved to Washington Co PA and married Catherine Grant there in 1822. I have searched to find a connection to any of the many Jackmans in that area but have found none. I haven't been able to connect him to any of the VA Jackmans either. Does anyone have any information that could lead me past this dead end?
