Classification: Query
Surnames: Jacks, Brinegar, Waters, Powell
Hello,
My name is Jolene Jacks-Capparelle. Eighteen years ago I traced my family line back to Thomas Jacks. I was stuck proving who his father was. I believed it was Jone. He arrived in Maryland in 1667. He was an indentured servant. Life and little children came along and side tracked my search. In April of this year, I took my records out of storage and started again. I'm hooked! Now, I will not stop until I find the answers or draw my last breath. ( I'm sure you understand).
Could you help me with a few questions?
Do you know if any of the Jacks men have done the DNA test? I asked my father if he would do it, and he said yes. It would be great to use the same testing site.
I am working on the Richard/Ann Garland, Sparks, Brinigar triangle...HELP.
Here is my Line:
Thomas 1675? Married Elizabeth, Powell, Waters, (maiden name unconfirmed)
Richard 1713 Married Ann (Garland? maiden name unconfirmed)
John 1740 Married Asenith (Martin? maiden name unconfirmed)
Richard Marion 1772 Married Sophia Barnes
Elias Barnes 1802 Married Polly Warden
Warden Thomas 1835 Married Mary Rodgers
John Marshall 1817 Married Ruby Seeley
Edward Eugene 1911 Married Ruth Marie Matthews
Eugene Edward 1939 Married 4 times 1) Charlotte Renno 2) Janice Richardson 3) Joyce McLaughin 4)Dorris Hansen
*Jolene Jacks 1962. Daughter of Janice Richardson.
Where are do we intersect?
I have some old Jacks photos. I am willing to share all information and photos.
May I call you? I have free long distance.
