Hello all, I am trying to research my husbands family on his father's side. His father was Lawrence Jacks married Wilma J. Williams. Lawrence's father was Edd Jacks or full name might be Charles Edgar Jack or Jacks. I am unsure of the correctness of the last name. I believe Edd's parents were Thomas Jacks and Sallie Sexton. I do not have any further names than that. I have it written on a child's death certificate that Tom and Sallie's birth area is Knox County, Tennessee. Tom was born approx. 1866 and Sallie was around 1871 or 1873. Sallie applied to the Cherokee nation in 1906, but was denied. Sallie's mother or grandmother was Nancy Lambert. That is all of the info. that I have. Any help or corrections on any dates, places, time frames, etc is most appreciated and welcomed. Would love to know Tom and Sallie's parents.
