JW Jackson-Obion County, TN
I am looking for any information on JW(?) Jackson who lived in Obion County, TN in 1900. He was born in June 1870 in Alabama and married an Edna, probably around 1890. Their children included Harvey Westley (wife Hattie Mai Holladay), Herbert Lee (wife Carrie Mae Tosh), Rose B., Bertha M. (husband James Arthur Snellgrove), and Johnie E. He died some time between 1903 and 1910. His wife is listed as a widow on the 1910 census and she was living in Weakly County, TN by 1910. The family moved relocated to Bemis, Madison County, TN some time around 1920.
JW Jackson was my paternal great-grandfather and I've been unable to find out any information on him. I'm not even sure what the intials JW stand for and I took that information from the 1900 census. The writing is a bit unclear so I'm not sure if the initials are JW or J?(something other letter).
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
