1904 Amboy Oh married March 13 1865 In Ripley NY Helen S. Groat born 1839 in chenango Co, She was the daughter of Stephen & Rhonda Groat. They had one Daughter and Adopted Clarence David Jackway. I have alot of Jackways in my tree but I am trying to make the connection to the Groats my gr gr gr gr grandmother is Emma Groat who married John Disbrow b 1829 in Pompret New York they had a son William b/ oct 10 1847. John was listed as a fisherman in Conneaut Ohio 1880. He was also reinlisted in 1864 100th Company E. Hope someone has some more info.
