The above person was my 3x removed great grandmother, her parents were William and Catherine Jacob. The Menzies I think might have been her mother's surname. There is definitely a Scottish connection here with the name Menzies. Jane married a William Kettle (I haven't found the marriage yet though). Jane named one of her son's Henry Douglas and my gg grandmother's name was Ellen Margaret.
