I have done extensive research on the Jacobers of Baltimore. Your great-grandfather Ferdinand H. Jacober was my great-grandfather's brother. My great-grandfather settled in Cincinnati, Ohio and was a barber just like Ferdinand H. Their mother immigrated from Switzerland in 1870 with her five living children, Anna, Casper Joseph (my great-grandfather), Ferdinand, Emil, and Barbara.
