I am also a descendent from a Jacobus from Waldlaubersheim. My great, great, great grandfather was Philipp Jacobus, born 15 Jun 1801 in Waldlaubersheim. This is a record I have in a family Bible. The translation of the full text is "Philipp Jacobus born 15 June, 1801
The baptism witnesses were Pf. Marx and his wife, Gebohren-maiden name Krupp. My wife Martha [unreadable] was born in Mandel on 22nd Dec. 1805. The baptism witnesses were Peter Schneider from Mandel and Martha [Balmbach?] from Windesheim. We above named got married in the year 1826 [small unreadable word] the second Christmasday. Our daughter [Christina, my g,g, grandmother] was born in the year 1828, 17th May. Godparents are my mother Maria Christina. Our son [Philipp or Phillip, jr.] was born in the year 1832, 14th of October. The godparents have been Philipp [Kercher?] from [Göhnheim] and Philipp [Weiners?] from here."
In the 1870 census he is living in Greenfield, MA, with his son Phillip (married to Agnes Sauter), age 70.
In the 1880 census he is living in Greenfield (age 79) with his daughter, "Christrian Jacobus," [Christina] who is the widow of Jacob Sauter.
There was a Philip Jacobus and a wife Martha with the correct dates of birth, both from Germany, on the 1860 Census living in Galloway Township in New Jersey, he was listed as a shoemaker.
I have a fair bit of information about the descendents of Christina Jacobus Sauter and her brother Phillip Jacobus (who married Agnes Sauter), but I have nothing about the ancestors of their father Philipp (other than his mother's name was Maria Christina)
