I am searching for the parents of my 3rd great grandmother, Julia Ann Jacobus. According to census records, she was born abt 1821 in New Jersey. She married Daniel Anderson in 1839 and had 9 children: James, William, Elizabeth, Joseph, Harriet, Ada, Franklin, Julia, and Harry. The family lived in either Hudson or Essex counties over the years. I'm not having much luck figuring out her parentage, although I have seen her listed as a child of Simon Jacobus/Catherine Decker and Simon Jacobus/Elizabeth Van Houton. I have no proof of either. I'm also unable to find her date of death.
