Hi!
After so many years I think my researchs about Jacques name
are ending.Recently in november 2011 i had been in Spain in a little middle edge city named Jaca .This city is in the Pirineus Mountains and was in the 1500 the firs capital of the Aragon Kingdon..Its umbeliveble how everything is like the early times!!!So you can imagine ,the name Jacques cames from Jaca. And the habitants from Jaca are named the" Jacques".
This city uses to have to sinagogs and a very big jewish quarter.
Jaca was the first place in Spain ho had documents showing the presence of jewish people.
The spanish kings Fernando fron Aragon e Isabel from Castela took off the jewish people all his belongs and properties until this peaple runs away from France, because is the neigbourhood, very close, (just 20Kms)on the other side of the mountains. The did it probably for dont be killed for the inquisicion.
The real thig was: the gentios didnt have any reason for scape. So ho moves away of Jaca from France and after other parts from the world includding South and nort America ..
Thats what I find until now..
