The only Sarah Jaggers I can find is way back in 1774 I don't think there is a direct connection. My Jaggers was silveramith and then an undertaker and they were from the Clerkenwell/Camberwell area. Below is a transcript of a settlement examination from 1790
Voluntary Examination of Elizabeth Jaggers
Middlesex towit the voluntary examination of Elizabeth Jaggers on behalf of herself and her 6 children taken upon oath before us two of his Majesty’s Justice of the Peace in and for the said county of Middlesex this 26th day of May 1790.
This examinant saith that about twenty years ago she was lawfully married to her late husband Richard Jaggers by banns at the parish church of St Mary Whitechapel by whom she hath seven children, viz Elizabeth aged nineteen years, Sarah aged sixteen years, Richard aged thirteen years, John aged ten years, Mary aged eight years, Ann aged five years, James aged two years and upwards. That about twenty two years ago her said husband was hired as a yearly servant by Mr Bridges of Cary Lane in the Parish of Saint John Lachary in Footer Lane in the City of London, Wine Merchant at the yearly wages of twelve pounds, that he lived in with his said master about two years and then left his service, that from the time of his leaving the said Mr Bridges to the time of his death he did not gain himself any other settlement that she this examinant since the death of her said husband has not been able to gain herself a settlement in any other Parish or place and lastly that she this examinant and six of her children viz Sarah, Richard, John, Mary, Ann and James are now chargeable to the Parish of Saint James at Clerkenwell in the said county.
