The important info on the settlement is that the late Richard Jaggers worked for two years as a yearly servant to Mr bridges of Cary Lane in St John Lachary in Footer Lane in the city of London about 20 years ago (1770- 1772 ish) The children mentioned were, Elizabeth born 1771, Sarah born 1774, Richard born 1777, John born 1780, Mary born 1782, Ann born 1785 and James born 1788. The newspaper report was interesting as I also have Robert Jaggers born 1811 in Clerkenwell.
