Walter J. Jagow
Walter J. Jagow, 37. died Sunday evening at the Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Jagow was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield. He is survived by his widow, Hilda, nee Walck, a daughter, Sharon Louise and a son, Charles Frederick. He is also survived by his father, Fred, four sisters, Mrs. Hugo Gade of La Porte, Ind.; Mrs. Melvin Williams of Sanborn, the Misses Maralyn and Elfrieda Jagow of Bergholtz, five brothers, Howard of St. Johnsburg, Franklin and Erwin of Bergholtz, Victor of Niagara Falls, and Frederick of Ft. Wayne, Ind. Funeral services will be held from the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St., Wednesday at 2 p.m. and at the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Bergholtz, at 2:30. Deceased was a member of the Men’s Club of the Holy Ghost Church, Lutheran Laymen’s League and Bergholtz Fire Dept. Rev. Victor Dahlke will officiate. Burial in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
