I believe your Amella Jahr was married to Carl Jahr. Carl is the brother of my great grandmother, Minnie Jahr. We have quite a bit of research completed for Minnie Jahr and her family, I would be happy to share it with you if you like. Minnie's 1925 obituary states her siblings as: Carl who was living in British Columbia at the time and several sisters Barbara Marie(aka Mary) Jahr Weinkauf of Hammer, SD and Clara Jahr Hoffman of Hammer, SD and another Mrs. Hoffman of Gladstone Mich and Bertha Jahr Rosenberry of Wahpeton. Carl's parents are Joseph Jahr and Minnie Jazer. Nearly all of the information I have is well documented and was not simply found on the web. We have traveled through out the USA researching this family. However I did find on the web,(tonight as a matter of fact) that Amella Jahr is the daughter of August & Fredrica Eggert.
