Surnames: Jaimes, Cook
Hello, Sarah.
I think I have some of the same info & we are related....Corey from Mesa and George are both cousins to me; Rudy is my great uncle. His oldest brother Samuel Subia Jaimes was my grandfather. This is what I have found...see if it all matches...I am excited to find out more info on Santiago and Santana especially. My mom, aunt & I had actually traveled to San Angelo to do research in the spring of 2006 & found much of this in the public records & cemeteries.

I. Jose Jaimes (born 1818 & died 1910) married Sarah Cook as a second marriage- 1st wife also had a family that included Julia below, but we don’t have the first wife’s name. … all from San Angelo, TX area.
A. who had Samuel C. (for “Cook”) - born about 1880 & lived in Maricopa, Co AZ in 1930
B. Luis (married to Maria Figueroa in 1900 and/or Loretta Rodriguez in 1910?) [posts from Gloria Martinez on this thread/board connect us to Luis I believe]
C. Santana (married Teresa Galindo in 1920; Santana may be a nickname, but he was supposed to be a well known cowboy- possibly in the wild west shows era of Buffalo Bill Cody, etc.- I have a copy of a sepia colored photo showing Santana posing in wooly chaps, cowboy hat and rope)
D. Jorge or George – may have moved to California somewhere/sometime –Fresno?! (first wife was maybe “Santas Herrera” & married 2nd wife Katie “Commun~es”,
E. Julia (from old Jose’s 1st marriage we think- not much info on her),
F. Jose (maybe also called “Bodey” – married Olivia “something” [can’t read the handwriting on the marriage license] in 1903 – and/or married a Lola Ramirez 1912 - moved to AZ with Samuel & Jim for a time)
G. Jim or Jimmie– who may have also been called “Santiago” & may have married Margarita Rosales & may have had a daughter Isabella (Joe & Jim went back later to TX)
H. & maybe “Lisa” (we don’t have much info on her, just a mention of a name)

II. THAT Samuel Cook Jaimes (A above) married Ascuncion (or Asuncion) Subia (born about 1880) [they moved to Mesa/Phoenix from San Angelo, TX]
& had Samuel S. (for Subia) Jaimes (my grandfather) and 6 others including George's dad Rudy as well as Ernie (who just passed away this year).

Please reply if this seems to connect with you & perhaps we can share more info/birthdates/photos, etc.
