      <title>Obit: Gracie (Jaimet) Rolf of Nebraska (1932-2009)</title>

      <description>Gracie E. Rolf, the daughter of Rudolf and Grace (Krakel) Jaimet was born on September 27, 1932 at Fullerton, Nebraska.  She attended school in Fullerton and graduated in 1949.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;            On April 27, 1952 Gracie was united in marriage to Merlin Rolf at the United Methodist Church in Albion, NE.  They made their home, and raised their four children in Albion, NE.  Gracie spent her time as a homemaker and worked part-time at the sale barn. In 1997 Gracie and Merlin purchased a winter home in Pharr, TX.  Merlin passed away in July of that year.  Gracie continued to spend her winters in south Texas where she made many more friends, including her companion of three years, Barney Fischer. Gracie was a volunteer at the Rio Grande Regional Hospital for several years working at the information desk and the nursery.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;            Gracie was a member of the United Methodist Church in Albion and served in the women’s church group, taught Sunday school and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary where she served as District and Local President.  Gracie bowled on a team for 25 years, was a member of league golf, played bridge, loved attending her kids sporting activities and school events, and enjoyed bird watching. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;On Tuesday, April 7, 2009 Gracie passed away at the Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, TX at 76 years of age. Gracie was loved by all and an inspiration to many, had a loving heart and will be missed greatly by all of her family and friends.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She is survived by her four children: Rick Rolf and wife Charolette of North Platte, NE; Barb Rolf of West Point, NE; Jeff Rolf of San Francisco, CA; and Bettey Torres and husband Michael of The Colony, TX; special friend Barney Fisher of Pharr, TX; 5 grandchildren: Pam Blackburn, Tammy Hickman, Darren Rolf, Tyler and Heather Torres; and one great-granddaughter Marisa Blackburn; her sister Bethel Bolton of Chula Vista, CA; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Gracie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Merlin; 3 brothers: David, Keith, and John Jaimet; 2 sisters: Ruth Gordon and Myrtle Dunnigan.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at the United Methodist Church in Albion wtih Rev. K.F. Kaleuati officiating.  Burial will be at  Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion. Visitation will be Monday from 3-8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Albion.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>

      <description>Does anyone know how to obtain a copy of the original application for an entry in the Wuerttemberg, Germany Emigration Index by Schenk, Trudy and Ruth Froelke?  &lt;br&gt;This is an 8 volume set, but I don't know exactly where it is located, other than at Salt Lake City, UT.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;His information is listed below:&lt;br&gt;District: Leonberg, &lt;br&gt;Name JAIMET, CHARLES &amp;amp; F., &lt;br&gt;Birth Place: Perouse, &lt;br&gt;Application Date: Mar 1830, &lt;br&gt;Destination: N.       <description>My great great grandmother was Susan Jaimet who lived in Saint Clair County Illinois and was Married to Henry Huber.  I have not been able to obtain any information about her, other than that she had a sister named Catherine Jaimet.&lt;br&gt;However,  Susan DIed in 1873 at age of 38 years.&lt;br&gt;I was reading an article just tonight about her husband's 87th birthday party in 1919 in Freeburg, Illinois.  Attending that party was a David Jaimet and son Walter of New Athens Illinois.  I am assuming that this Jaimet was a relative of my great great grandmother.  Does any of this connect with what you may know.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Robert Williams</description>

They had a son by the name of Raymond C. &lt;br&gt;Jaimet, who married Minnie Ethington. Raymond&lt;br&gt;was born on October 18, 1882 in Perry Co.&lt;br&gt;Illinois.
