According to the birth record for my great great great grandfather NAGY Joannes (b. 1806), his parents were NAGY Michael & JAKAB Catherina. As Joannes was born in Tapszentmiklos it is likely that his parents were both from the area. Interested to hear from anyone with information about the family.
