I have found the ship manifest for my great great grandmother who immigrated here (Ellis Island) to Chicago, Illinois in 1901. It states her ethnicity as "Rasfia". Can anyone help me to figure out what that means or is?? Also this is her married name. She married a Walenty Jakubiak in Poland and came over later by herself to meet him in Chicago in 1901. So I am assuming he immigrated by himself before 1901 after they were married. They would have been married in 1884 when she was 18. I have no information on him. Also no information on her maiden name. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
