I am looking for information on Michelina Czekalski Jakubiak, born ca. 1850 in Poland and died sometime after 1930 in South Bend, Indiana. I am trying to determine if Michelina was related to John and Valentine Czekalski of Wisconsin, Maryanna Czekalski Burzynski of South Bend, or Katherine Czekalski Jozwiak of South Bend. Michelina Czekalski Jakubiak was married to Peter Jakubiak and had two daughters that I know of: Catherine Jakubiak Wojciehowski and Josephine Jakubiak Krych, both of South Bend. Do these names ring a bell with anyone? I am especially looking for Michalina's obituary - I cannot find it in the St. Joseph Public Library online index and I am hoping someone out there has a copy.
