oh dear, I guess time flies. I didn't realize Mockin had passed two years ago. I'm so sorry. I know that Aunt Janie called or went by and visited with her and it seems gave me her phone number, but I never called. shame on me. So now I have you placed in the "tree"! I remember Mockin from when I was little and always loved loved her name..like mocking bird. I wish so much I was older when I was around her. She must have come up here and I remember going to Dallas to visit...it's so vague but I do remember seeing her. I also remember Mother taking my greatgrandmother Helen to Edwin's funeral. It's times like this I wish I could ask Mother, but, this is why I'm searching. The tidbits from my limited memory intrigue me and have no family tree info to go by except for what I remember and what I have searched on the internet. I have kinda followed George's line, but not the Edwin line even though it is closer to me. How fun. I am up in the Texas Panhandle and have friends in Dallas area, so maybe we could exchange info...although I don't have much - but would love to pick your brain about the scattered info I have. I will try to sit down tonite and go over my notes. I do have a picture of Callie Belle Canfield (your great grandmother and my great great grandmother) and numerous books about Republic Ins., etc. and everything I can get my hands on about the Jalonicks. I also have a copy of Ike Jalonick, Jr.'s Will which started this whole discovery process! Thanks for posting to my queries.
