I am seeking information on Margaret (Maggie) Jamison, born in 1867, probably in Marion, McDowell County, NC. I have the census records. I'm not sure if Jamison or one of the numerous variations was her maiden name or married name but her mother was named Malinda and she lived with a Malinda Jamison for a while according to census records. Malinda's husband probably served in the Civil War as there was a gap in the children's ages about that time.

Maggie married Doctor Avery Taylor around 1887 (have the exact date somewhere), but evidently was married and had three children before marrying him. One of these children was my grand-mother, Jessie Clementine. Jessie married Theodore Vance Davis, Sr. and lived in McDowell, Jackson, and Hazelwood, NC.

Maggie died in the 1930's (have the date somewhere)and was buried in Waynesville.
