This is somewhat off topic, as this is a Janda board, but there is no Pochop board.

Anna Pochop is Moravian; the other Pochops in Nebraska appear to have been from Bohemia. Therefore we don't have an obvious connection.

I traced Franz and Barbara Pochop born about 1842-43. I found their ship's record, and census listings. I also traced a Jan Pochop who seems to have lived in Saunders County, then Cheyenne, then Pierce. If you want details, please email me

If you've read my long list of Pochops, you would see a Fabian there. Strangely enough, I turned up a younger Fabian (about 25 years younger) who lived in Racine Wisconsin. Ok, I know we shouldn't jump to conclusions, but my instinct says these two are related, either father-son or uncle-nephew. Unfortunately, he and his wife did not have any children.
