My grandmothers Maiden name is Janis. She lived in Wyandotte,Mi. I dont know much about this side of my family. My grandmother's name ws Frances Janis, she has been, married twice once to my maternal grandfather Larry Dale Summit(died in 2004)and to Robert Acres(died n 2001) She had a sister named Dorothy (Janis) Maruso who later married and moved to pekin, Illinois. My grandmother also had a brother named George janis, who later moved to the maryland or Virginia area.
My great grandparents names were Albert Janis, he dies sometime in 1968.Sophie Janis was my great grandmother, her maiden name i believe is Leufkovich(not sure if spelled right)she also resided in Wyandotte, Mi until her death in 2000. i am tryin to find out any possible info out on my family
