Classification: Query
Surnames: Gerlich, Yanisch, Janisch, Meitner, Schmeiser,
My family lines are Schmeiser, Gerlich, Janisch, Yanisch, Meitner, Langer, and others all from Lanskroun. I got a book ,and they have many volumes, from Pierce County Wisconsin. I have Vol 7 & 8 which has a lot of information about the people who emigrated from Lanskroun. Minnesota Historical Society has Park books about the same thing. If you look in the counties where your people came from there may be a book that tells about the pioneers of that particular county and or state. The only names in the Pierce County Books that I see offhand are the Yanisch's and Janish's. I hope you have luck. The book I have lists where the people lived in Bohemia, who the parents and their children were and where they lived in Wisconsin. It has help me a lot. Rachel Johnson
