It's too bad you didn't know there were VanBuskirk relations in the Roseburg, Riddle area when you were there.
My father, Wallace (Mike) William Matthews was born west of Lookingglass on Reston Mountain in 1906. He was next to youngest of 10 children. (Sarah VanBuskirk and Elijah Whistler were his Great-Grandparents) Sarah's daughter, Barbara VanBuskirk Whistler was his grandmother. She lived with them in her last years. He loved to talk about her. She was pretty opinionated and feisty.
When you worked for Roseburg Lumber did you know any Matthews? or a Mike Simmons, Bob Tjomsland, or Bob Manning?
