My maternal Grandfather was Mose A Jansen. Unsure of his parents names. They were of French and Dutch descent. My great grandfather was possibly born in Holland, Netherlands. My granfather and grandparents lived up in Phlox Wi, trading with Native Americans, running a store in that area. They may have been fur traders, and possible French Canadian.

Mose married my maternal Grandmother Clara K. Wege who was born in Appleton, WI to a shoemaker, Fred Wege. They moved to Antigo, where she meet my grandfather. They married around 1903. Their youngest daughter Jeanne, was my mother.
