I just read your post requesting information on the parents of Elizabeth Jantzen. Posted on 28 September 2000. It shows you have received no replies. Have you been able to get any information? Elizabeth is my great-grandmother. Elizabeth's youngest son, John T. Unruh, was my mother's father.

I don't know if this will help but some years back (before my big computer crash of 2007) the name I had for the wife of Tobias A. Unruh was Elisabeth Jantz, dob; September 9, 1850,in Karolwalde, and dod: May 18, 1940, in Galva, Ks. I do not know the source of this information, like I said my computer crashed and I lost that information, it may even have been information I obtained from my mother, Helen Unruh. I just had a hard copy of a tree, no resources. This is the same statistics I now find on line for Elizabeth (or Elisabeth) Jantzen.
My hard copy shows the Father of Elizabeth Jantz as Johann Jantz, dob: Oct.1825, in Ostrog, Volhynia and dod: Sept 20,1908 in Ringwood,Ok, USA, It also shows Elizabeth's mother to be Anna Ruediger, dob Sept 28,1829 in Ostrog and dod: July 1, 1909 in Ringwood, Ok. USA
