I have posted this due to my search of Vicente Jaquez, husband of Fidela Martinez, in hope someone will know if he was re-married.
Rose J. Archuleta
March 10, 1920 - May 8, 2005
Rose J. Archuleta, 85, born in Blanco to Jose
Vicente Jaquez and Conception Jaquez, lived in
Aztec. The Lord called her home on Mother’s Day,
May 8, 2005. At the time of her death, all her
living children, sisters and grandchildren were
by her side.
Rose married Jose Lugardo Archuleta, who preceded her in death in March of 1954. Two children also preceded her in death. Rose is survived by six children, 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Aztec, and active in the community through the Legion of Mary, St. Vincent de Paul, Bible study, adult religious classes, and Altar Society. Her favorite class was CCD, preparing and teaching children for their First Holy Communion.
Mom, you were truly a giving, nurturing, inspirational role model, dedicated to the welfare of your children and any child that you came in contact with.
