Can anyone help me with this Charles Tenant Porter Jarnagin information. Charles Tenant Porter (C. T. P. Jarnagin) was born in 1812 in Tennessee, he is the son of Preston Jarnagin and Elizabeth Conway

C. T. P. Jarnigan and Amanda C. Albright married about 1854 in Georgia.

C. T. P. Jarnagin and Amanda were divorced before 1870 and C. T. P. went to Tennessee and Amanda moved to Arkansas.

Only one child shows in the 1860 Census in Georgia, the son Henry (son of Amanda and Jarnagin) is 1 year old in this census. I have been able to find Lucy Jarnagin (born 1862 in Georgia) later with her mother and also Julia Jarnagin (born 1862 in Georgia) Julia is the daughter that is never mentioned). Most of the family trees I visit say that Henry and Lucy were born in Tennessee, however they were born in Georgia, as was Julia.

Between 1860 and 1870 when Lucy and Julia were born and before a new census, C. T. P. Jarnagin and Amanda are no longer married and C. T. P. has remarried and moved to Tennessee. Amanda moves to Arkansas.

In order to straighten out my tree and get the right data I need to find confirmation info which does not seem to exist expect with my records - anyone know where I could search this out?
