Do you happen to know if Blaine's Crossroads was ever referred to as Blaine's Station? This is a clue I am working on in my line which is from Alexander Humes of Grainger County, TN. He appears there on the tax list of 1810. One of his sons was James, possibly born in Blaine's Station, TN.
