I am looking for anything on Valerien Gueho, his wife was Celina Sellers and his father was Paul Gueho. They had eight children. From what I have understood is that they may have come to northern Pointe Coupee Parish from the Fourdouche area. Anything will help. The only son born to this couple never had children, his name was Isadore.

Searching for parents of Hermes Jarreau. His WWI draft registration was filed in West Baton Rouge Parish and lists his birthdate as 10 January 1887 in Hermitage, LA. His place of residence on that record is given as Chamberlin. This document is dated 5 June 1917. I have not been able to locate him in either the 1910 or 1920 census in either Pointe Coupee Parish or West Baton Rouge Parish. He is with his wife and children in the 1930 census in Pointe Coupee Parish.

Have received new information. I am now trying to find Clara's one last living brother, Joe, who, lives in Erwinville, LA. He has 5 sons, Alvin, Cecil, Duddly, J.B. and Adam as well as 2 daughters, Flowerance and Ruby.
Clara had 3 sons, one of them is Mike, and he still might be in the Pointee Coupee area as well as a daughter named Lorraine.
Clara also had a sister named Eve and 3 brothers, Joe, Orelie and Mosard (Shorty), he has one living son named Edward Jarreau.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My name is Shawn Jarreau. My grandfather is Lawrence Jarreau married to Rosa Belle Gueho, Livonia, La. My grandfather committed suicide July '99 and my grandmother died sept 2000. Would like to know more about Jacque & wife Marie Stiguin (?sp). Their son Pierre born abt 1731 is my ggggg-grandfather.
Pierre Jarreau married Marie Gueho
Their son Rosemond married Celeste Vitrac.
Their son Clement married Celine David.
Their daughter Angelina married Emile Pourciau.
Their son Tobie is my maternal grandfather.
All generations except Jacque, lived in Pointe Coupee Parish, LA.

My mother, Clara Jarreau, was born and raised in Pointee Coupe. She married into the David family and had 3 boys. i would like to locate any family members? I remember hearing, Roy, Herbert, Davin, Joseph, from her.
She spoke a very broken French and English language. She would have left Louisiana in the late 40's to early 50's.
