The last time I posted this query to the Jarrell ListServer was 10 Apr
2007 and I see only a single update by Julia Irene Jarrell Blackwood.

We have seven generations of Jarrell ancestors for William Calving and
we have one hundred descendants of this couple.

The two JACOB girls are sisters but I don't know who their parents
were of if there are other siblings.

As per my new protocol I have included the obituaries, notes 9 & 10.

Dorothy Jarrell Reppert GLENN
Age 84
November 6, 2000
Nashville, TN

The widow of William W. Glenn. November 6, 2000 of cancer at The
Residence at Alive Hospice, Nashville, TN.

The youngest daughter of Charles Washington Jarrell and Cora Mai
Adkins, who preceded her in death, as did her sisters, Nina NICHOLSON
and Martha Watts; brother, Irby Jarrell; husbands, James Reppert
(October, 1969), William W. Glenn, (October, 1988).

Mrs. Glenn, a native of Nashville, TN, spent time in Hollywood, CA
during her marriage to Mr. Reppert, and in Gulf Shores, AL after her
marriage to Mr. Glenn.

She was employed for several years in the state Manager's office of
South Central Bell Telephone Company and later as secretary to the
Fine Arts Director at Cheekwood, retiring in 1972.

A gallant and gracious woman, who enriched the lives of all who knew
her, fought cancer courageously for four years.

Mrs. Glenn is survived by sister; Maggie L. Sanders, rural Cheatham
County, TN; step-son and wife, Marvin and Eleanor Glenn, Chickamauga,
GA; three step-grandchildren, seven step great-grandchildren, 13
nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mrs. Glenn's remains rest Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, where the family
will receive friends 12-2 P.M. Wednesday, November 8, 2000.

Service time 2 P.M., from the Harpeth Hills Chapel, with Bro. Joe
McNeil officiating.

Interment will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

Nephews and great-nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. John A. Strupp, Dr. Charles Daniels, Dr.
Richard Geer, Dr. Roger Bonan, Philip Samson, Horace Swift Lipscomb,
Tom Walsh, Glendale AZ, J.W. Thompson, Iva SC, the Body of Elders at
the Bellevue, TN and Foley, AL congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses.

The family requests that any memorial be in the form of donations to
the American Cancer Society, The Residence at Alive Hospice, 1710
Patterson St., Nashville, TN 37203, or a charity of your choice.

Maggie Lois Sanders, 93, Ashland City died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005
at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville.

She was one of the oldest members of the Bethel Free Will Baptist
Church in Ashland City.

She is survived by one son Clayton J. Sanders of Ashland City; three
daughters Juanita NICHOLSON of Nashville, Pat (Raymond) Wickard of
Hendersonville, Jewell (Frank) Johns of Smyrna; daughter-in-law
Deborah Sanders of Chapmansboro; 14 grandchildren and 20 great
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years John Henry
Sanders; her parents Charlie and Cora ADKINS Jarrell; her son Michael
Sanders; her brother Irby Jarrell; sisters Nina NICHOLSON, Martha
Watts, and Dorothy Glenn.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, at 2:30 p.m.
at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church in Ashland City with Brother Terry
Forrest, Brother Mike Dankson and Brother Robert Woodard officiating.

Pallbearers were Todd Jones, Jack Ketteman, Kevin Suggs, David Suggs,
Andy Johns, Shane Sanders, Steven Sanders, Robb Lee, Matthew Miller,
Michael Jones, Greg Ketteman, Van Morrison, Rusty Jones, Clif White
and Lee Howington.

Honorary pallbearers were Robert and Thelma Mosley, Marty and Mattie
Stroud, Charles Daniel; granddaughters and great granddaughters, and
nurses and techs at St. Thomas Hospital.

Interment will be in the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in
Ashland City.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bethel Free Will
Baptist Church Building Fund, 2400 Mosley Ferry Road, Ashland City,
TN 37015
