Ruth F. Jarrell

A funeral service for Ruth F. Jarrell, 98, of Felton will be held at
2 p.m. Wednesday, March 6 at Berry Short Funeral Home, Felton.

Mrs. Jarrell died Sunday, March 3, 2002, at the Country Rest Home in
Greenwood.

She was born July 1, 1903, in Lebanon, Ind., daughter of the late Ora
and Nora Shaw Bohannon.

Mrs. Jarrell was a homemaker. She was a former member of Manship U.M.
Church, Felton and the Woman’s Christian Society of Dover.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband
Clarence Jarrell in 1996; two daughters, Marilyn Ottinger and
Bertha Belle Ennis, and three sons, John G., Robert L. and Donald T.
Jarrell.

She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Martin W. and
Virginia Jarrell of Harrington, Eldred K. and Helen Jarrell of
Woodside, L. Gene and Gladys Jarrell of Monroe, N.C. and Alvin O.
Jarrell of Magnolia; a sister, Edith Richards of Dover; 26
grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great-
grandchildren.

Burial will be in Hopkins Cemetery, Felton.

Eldred Kenneth Jarrell, 78, of Camden died Monday, March 14, 2005, in
his home.

Mr. Jarrell was born June 5, 1926, in Felton, son of the late Clarence
and Ruth Bohannon Jarrell, and was a lifelong resident of the Camden
area.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a control tower operator.

Mr. Jarrell was self-employed, and he and his wife owned and operated
E.J. Electronics Inc. and Pulsar Communications, both in Camden.

Mr. Jarrell loved flying his Cessna 150, and enjoyed working in his
flower and vegetable garden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three
brothers, Donald Jarrell, Bobby Jarrell and Jack Jarrell; a son,
Kenneth S. Jarrell; and two sisters, Bertha Belle Ennis and Marilyn
Ottinger.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Jarrell of Camden; two daughters and
a son-in-law, Patricia and Michael Puszcz of Middletown and Laura
Barron of Junction City, Ark.; three brothers and two sisters-in-law,
Martin and Virginia Jarrell of Harrington, Gene and Gladys Jarrell of
North Carolina and Alvin Jarrell and his companion Nancy Welch of
Magnolia; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Bertha Belle Jarrell was born 2 Nov 1935 at Harrington, Kent County,
Delaware.

Per her obituary in the Delaware State News, Dover, Delaware, 8
June 1994, she died on 7 June 1994 at her home in Smyrna, Kent County,
Delaware, and was to be buried in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna,
Delaware.

The obituary also states she was survived by her husband, Richard E.
Ennis, Sr.; a daughter, Natalie Neeman, and 5 brothers: Martin Jarrell
and Alvin Jarrell, of Harrington, Delaware, Eldred Jarrell of
Woodside, Delaware, Jack Jarrell of Dover, Delaware and L. Gene
Jarrell of Monroe, North Carolina.
