MANSFIELD, OHIO: Lucile L. Jarrett McKinney, 88, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009 after an extended illness.
Mrs. McKinney was born June 10, 1920 to the late Charles and Amy Farrell Brown Jarrett in Canton, Georgia, coming to Mansfield as a young child. Prior to her illness Lucile enjoyed planting flowers in her yard.
Lucile is survived by two daughters, Rita Cochran of Mansfield, Ohio and Gloria Braxton of Columbus, Ohio; two sons, Ronald (Queen) McKinney and Phillip (Izola) McKinney, Sr. both of Mansfield; a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; one sister, Frankie Penney of Parish, New York.
In addition to her parents; Lucile was also preceded in death by her husband, Strakard; daughter, Barbara Lynch; and brother, Charles Jarrett.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 11:00 a.m. in the Ruth Anna Lee Williams Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Service by Pastor Merle Stewart of the Bethesda Christian Center. Friends may call in the chapel of the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Mansfield Cemetery. www.williamsfuneralservices.com
