Surnames: JARVINEN, SWORD

I also have a Jarvinen from Karstula, Finland who went to Massachusetts early 1900's. JOSEFINA JARVINEN. She lived in Quincy, MA and married Erland SWORD changed from SVAARD at some point. I am just beginning research so don't have many names or dates yet. Could there be a connection?
