I'm also looking into this family as my ancestor was Sarah Jarvis, daughter of William (from the marriage certificate).
Are you certain that the certificates are for the right children? Are the certificates photo copies of the originals or hand-written? There is a mistake on my Sarah's marriage certificate - the groom's father is stated to be William when he was, in fact, Matthew.
